Ever since NCL established a cement plant in the 1980s, it also established a township named Simhapuri that has enriched surrounding villages with employment, and educational and medical facilities.

 

NCL extends free education and transport to nearby tribal children in elementary as well as high school. Digital teaching methods are adopted with latest techniques in all high school classes. The high school has a reputation of cent-percent passes in public examinations for a number of years.

 

NCL has introduced a unique scheme of giving training with stipend for two years to employees of children in various sections of the factory as per their aptitude. Consequently, students gain experience & qualify for better jobs in their pursuit. A number of trainees, owing to this scheme, have succeeded in securing better employment.

 

An eight bed hospital in the campus provides medical facilities to the staff & workforce as well as nearby villagers. The hospital is provided with 2 ambulances for emergencies.

 

Treated drinking water is made available to employees & nearby villagers.

 

NCL has provided new quarters with modern amenities to its employees at Simhapuri as well as Kondapalli plants.
