Mr. R. Anand has been associated with NCL Industries Limited as a non-executive independent Director since 1982. He has extensive experience in the textile Industry and is also the Chairman of Eastern Engineering Co (Bombay) Pvt Ltd.

Mr. Anand was elected Chairman of the Board of NCL Industries Limited in succession of Mr. K Jayabharat Reddy, who resigned on 14th June, 2008. Besides being Chairman of the company, he is also a Director in Nova Silk Pvt Ltd, Indo Count Industries Ltd, NSL Textiles Limited, and Pranavadidya Spinning Mills ltd.
