Mr. V S Raju (75) is an Advocate with over 27 years standing in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh & specializes in corporate law matters.

Prior to joining the Bar in the year 1988, he took voluntary retirement from Central Government service in the then Department of Company Affairs.  During his tenure of government service, he occupied several senior positions including that of Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh, Under Secretary and then Deputy Secretary to the Government of India.

 

Mr Raju was actively associated with the Federation of the Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI). He served as the member of Management Committee and Vice President of FAPCCI, and was later elected as its President in the year 2011-12. 

 

Mr.  Raju was also the public representative appointed by SEBI on the Board of the Hyderabad Stock Exchange.
In course of his legal profession spanning over 27 years, Mr. Raju acted as counsel to several financial institutions like IDBI, IFCI, ICICI and several nationalized banks.  At present, he is an Independent Director in three other companies, namely, Andhra Sugars Ltd, Gangavaram Ports Ltd, and JOCIL Ltd (formerly Jayalakshmi Oil & Chemicals Ltd)

 

Mr. VS Raju was appointed Independent Director on the Board of NCL Industries Limited on 11th Nov, 2016.
